EuroMath – Teaching Math to Students with Visual Impairment

The EuroMath project – cofunded by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU – has developed a prototype for a new learning platform to help visually impaired children to learn maths online, developed in accordance with their needs and expectations.

The project is led by NASK, a Polish Research Institute supervised by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, and involves two more partners: Royal Dutch Visio, a centre of expertise for blind and partially sighted people of all ages, and Dublin City University.

The project is expected to increase the inclusion of ICT support to educational practice and to raise the implementation of digital support to math instruction as best educational practices.
