Some of the challenges we’ve faced in network-building:
– Needs common purpose & value, in our case peer support, training and joining up different initiatives with common purpose
– Maintaining active engagement from local organisations & accepting that a core group will be more active than others, and that others will be there more for the learning/training than the sense of being part of a community
– Navigating across sectors operating in different contexts and with different work cultures
