Abstract

In the memorandum, approved by the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region on 13 December 2018, the foundations were laid for a digital inclusion policy in the BCR. The memorandum also provided for the appointment of a Digital Inclusion Coordinator within the BRIC. Regional Coordination is responsible for acting as a link between the sector and the government and for synchronizing actions at the regional level and with the other federated entities. Coordination also brings together and leads a “digital inclusion” Working Group which includes the majority of Brussels regional bodies (Actiris, Bruxelles Formation, Brussels Fiscality, Brussels Environment, talent.brussels, Innoviris, etc.) and private stakeholders (CABAN, King Baudouin Foundation, etc.) to discuss certain issues.
